Noah Young
born: 02 February 1887
North Park, Colorado,
United States of America
died: 18 April 1958
Los Angeles, California,
United States of America
(heart attack, age 71)
Menacing-looking American actor who was discovered by Harold Lloyd and employed to appear in many of his early films at the Hal Roach Studios in the late 1910s before going on to support the likes of Laurel & Hardy.  After appearing in well over 100 films for Hal Roach, there was a big 7 year gap between the end of 1927 and the end of 1934 where he almost vanished completely from the film industry.
He set a record by running a mile in 8½ minutes while carrying a 150-pound man on his back.  Died of a heart attack four days after entering Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital for a hernia operation.  Buried at Forest Lawn; Harold Lloyd attended his funeral services.
Height: 6'0" Films listed on this page: complete Hal Roach filmography.

Jesse Brisson (identification in It's A Gift, Back To The Woods and Call For Mr. Caveman)
Identification in A London Bobby and Looking For Trouble were my own observations
Bann/Maltin list him as being the cop in the Our Gang film, Boys Will Be Joys (1925) but I strongly dispute this and have left this credit off this list.
The IMDb list him as being in the Glenn Tryon film, Meet The Missus (1924), but this is wrong.
Some sources list him as being in the Snub Pollard film, The Corner Pocket (1921) but this is wrong.
Some sources list him as being in the Will Rogers film, Big Moments From Little Pictures (1924) but this is wrong.
Some sources list him as being in the Charley Chase film, Young Oldfield (1924) but this is wrong.
Some sources list him as being in the Snub Pollard film, Any Old Port (1920) but this is wrong.
