Cousin Wilbur

Available on DVD:

Alfalfa's cousin Wilbur (SCOTTY BECKETT) is staying with him for the week but due to Wilbur's odd appearance Alfala worries that he won't fit in with the rest of the gang. Alfalfa takes Wilbur to meet Spanky, Porky and Buckwheat at their barn and they aren't impressed. Wilbur proposes the group expands to a benevolent society, thus the All For One Society is formed. The members round up some potential customers and Alfalfa gives some kids a not-entirely legal medical examination, including one boy who gets a bicycle innertube wrapped around his arm for a blood pressure test.
Outside the 'office' Butch and Woim are watching on through a window and decide to get in on the action. Butch confronts Spanky and Alfalfa and tells them he's taking over. Cousin Wilbur, trying to be polite, and not understanding Butch is a bully, tries to reason with him. One boy walks in with a supposed black eye and tries to make a claim on the insurance but he is exposed when Wilbur discovers it's just paint on his eye. Another boy, who was previously examined by Alfalfa, walks in with a real black eye, followed by four others who all make claims and tell the gang they received their injuries courtesy of Butch. Butch and Woim lay in wait for Wilbur behind a fence and grab him when he comes out of the barn, but Wilbur beats the crap out of them both (off camera, unfortunately). Butch and Woim go inside to complain and beg for protection. Wilbur is awarded the title of 'Onery President' of the outfit.

Favourite bit
Alfalfa's reaction when Wilbur attaches himself to him!

The 180th film in the series to be released.
My opinion
Too many hitch-pitched voices for me to enjoy! That said, it's only ten minutes and it wasn't that bad.
