American actor. In WWI he served in the American Expeditionary Force in France. His WWII Draft Card gives his height as "6'2½" and working as an actor for Central Casting. Earlier sources give his height as 6'1½".
While serving for a year in France, he met and courted Christine Jacquemont and brought her back to Chicago. They married in 1919. As an illustrator and she a cartoonist, they worked as independent contractors and had a son, Lionel, in 1920. They moved to LA after 1930 where he started acting. One source has him working for Disney Studios at one time. By 1937 they were divorced and both re-married.
