American actor who began appearing in the Our Gang comedies for MGM as a child (he took over from Gary Jasgur who left the series in 1939.) Blake went on to star in 40 of the 52 films made in the series between 1939-1944.
In 2005, Blake was tried and acquitted of the 2001 murder of his second wife, Bonnie Lee Bakley. However, on 18 November 2005, he was found liable in a California civil court for her wrongful death.

He is the brother of actors James Gubitosi and Joan Blake.
