May Wallace
born: 23 August 1877
Russiaville, Indiana,
United States of America
died: 11 December 1938
Los Angeles, California,
United States of America
(heart disease, age 61)
American actress.  She died during the making of what was to be her last film, Zenobia, four months before the film was released in April 1939.

She married a Charles Hampton Ludlow (1874-1952) on 4 September 1895 in Madison County, Indiana - interestingly, the FamilySearch transcription says "Mary A. Collins," not sure if this is a typo on their part - they had three children: Clara (1895/6-1974), Warren (1897-1961) and Mary (1899-????); she claims widowed by the 1910 Census, but it would appear that Charles remarried and was later admitted into a veteran's home.
She remarried on 18 December 1915 in Lake County, Indiana, to Thomas Whitmer Maddox (1877-1941). They remained so until her death.
