Betty Mack

American actress, born to a German father (John J. Nepomuck Jr) and American mother (Ida Ehlenberg) who began life as a clerk, working in Billings, Montana before becoming an actress.  She was a frequent co-star of Charley Chase in the mid-1930s and according to Brian Anthony's book "Smile When The Raindrops Fall", Mack and Chase developed a romantic relationship during Chase's declining marriage in around 1934. She married George Yohalem, a Columbia unit production manager, on May 2nd 1941 in Yuma, Arizona.
