THE SPAT FAMILY
(1923-1925)

In 1923, a new series of shorts were produced by Hal Roach starring Frank Butler, Laura Roessing and Sidney D'Albrook as "The Spat Family". They were released by Pathé Exchange at the rate of approximately one every month. 24 films were officially made as part of the series, which spanned two years. Unfortunately many of the films are considered as lost.
Special thanks to W. Dustin Alligood at Harpodeon for his help in allowing me access to four of the films on this list.
