Mary Egan

born: 15 November 1915
Des Moines, Iowa,
United States of America
died: 01 August 1960
Los Angeles County, California,
United States of America
(age 44)

Blonde American actress who served as a stand-in for Thelma Todd and Lyda Roberti. In 1934, she was romantically linked to Douglas Fowley. In 1937, she married Roach Studios soundman Ralph Butler (1912-1987); he divorced her in 1946. She then married Gilbert Henry Greene (1910-1996) in 1953 (though they may have been together as early as 1950). Her 1960 death notice in The Tidings only mentions an unnamed son as a survivor; I currently have no idea who this could be or which marriage he was born from. She is interred at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, California.
Some sources spell her surname as "Eagan."
She was born on the same day as Charles DeBriac and Raymond DeBriac.
Real name: Mary Louise Egan
