American actor, the father of Our Gang child star Joe Cobb. He was a successful practicing attorney in OK, TX, and Los Angeles for 30 years. While visiting family outside of Dallas, TX, his wife FLOSSIE (Mom of 11 year old JOE), had an emergency appendectomy
operation. She died 10 hours later from surgical shock in January 1929. His middle name being "Hardin" makes it difficult to understand some sources have him billed with the initial "W"? Buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, California. |
