Irish-born musician, also known as A. Norman Harvey, a pianist who led some dance band orchestras in the Los Angeles area in the mid-late 1920s and early 1930s. He was commissioner of music at the Los Angeles Athletic Club, whose membership included many Roach Studio alumni including Hal Roach himself; Harvey was in charge of the program of the L.A.A.C.'s April 1933 benefit show for the ailing Sammy Brooks. Harvey's day job was in the employ of the office of the Richfield Oil Corporation.
