(suicide by sleeping pills, age 34)
American actress and former model who made a handful of pictures in the 1940s.
She married swimming coach Frank A. Wilson on 6 October 1939.  In 1946, she married John Jacob "Jack" Jarvis Jr. (who notably flew Charles Lindbergh to safety when Jack's aircraft, in whom "Lucky Lindy" was a passenger, was attacked by Japanese fighters; the action earned Jarvis the Distinguished Flying Cross).  Apparently Carol and Jack named their first son after the actor Tyrone Power (Power hooked the couple up to begin with).
