American, dark-haired silent screen comedienne.  A favourite leading lady of Buster Keaton, she appeared in several of his early two-reel comedies.  Retired from films in 1922, after marrying the writer Jules Furthman.  She lived in Culver City towards the end of her life.
She appears in the semi-nude in a bathtub in Buster Keaton's 1920 short film, "One Week".
