Sailor Sharkey

born: 03 August 1891
San Luis Obispo, California,
United States of America
died: 08 December 1951
Salem, Oregon,
United States of America
(congestive heart failure, age 60)

American actor, allegedly a former boxer and purportedly of Native American descent. Also known as Jack Sharkey and Sharkey Weimar.
Not to be confused with the Irish boxer Thomas "Sailor Tom" Sharkey (1873-1953). While "our" Sailor has a wavily-crooked nose that would certainly suggest some possible pugilism, I get the feeling his later tales and boasts as reported in newspaper articles may have been an attempt to conflate himself with the original "Sailor."
Real name: Joseph Stephen Weimer
Height: 6'0"
