American vaudeville actor, the founder of The Three Stooges in 1923. His wife, Betty Healy alluded to the fact that she believed Ted was roughed up by Pat DiCicco to her employer LB. Mayer (who was bullied by the mob). She had been 'mysteriously' dismissed of her MGM contract right after this.
