American actor who had a long career in films, often appearing in Westerns; his 1968 death notices say he was an actor for Warner Bros. for 50 years. Earlier records are hard to find for Harr: the earliest I've currently found is his World War I draft registration card (signed 5 June 1917), where he's living in Los Angeles and working as a "rough rider" for Clarence "Fat" Jones, proprietor of the Fat Jones Stables (which provided horses and other equipment for films for 51 years); he says that his right leg has been broken twice, and that his birth place is unknown, but in the United States. By the time of his 1925 marriage certificate, he began giving it as Idaho.
