Stout American actor from the silent era. Despite claiming an exemption for "heart trouble" on his June 1917 WWI Draft Card, he enlisted in the New York State Naval Reserve (Jan 1918-Sep 1921) and rose to the rank of "Chief Pay Clerk" and was awarded the WWI "Victory Medal" for his service and a military burial.
His obit in "Variety" says he was working as a "contact man" for RKO Theaters at the Capitol Bldg.("NJ State House") in Trenton, NJ when he died of a heart attack.
He is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, New Jersey.
