American musician, a drummer. In 1924, he married Lillian DeBorba; together, they were the parents of Our Gang child actress Dorothy DeBorba. Lillian filed for divorce from Ray in mid-1929; they re-married in 1935, but Lillian filed for divorce again in 1939 and it was granted a year later.
