American actor who appeared in several Christie comedies in the early 1920s, and a handful of silent shorts with Hal Roach in the late 1920s. He died at home after collapsing following eating his dinner. He had just finished shooting his final scenes for the Charley Chase film, Limousine Love (1928) as the picture wrapped.
His wife was actress Rose Plumer. His surname was sometimes spelled "Plummer".
