Fred Karno Jr.

British silent screen actor and comedian, the son of British comedy theatrical touring company founder Fred Karno. Fred Jr., his wife Queenie, Charlie Hall, and Stan Laurel had become close friends. About 1924, Fred Jr., Queenie, and Charlie left Roach and formed a touring vaudeville act. Within a year, Charlie and Queenie came back to Hollywood and Fred Jr. formed a single act and went to Canada with his act. There, his visa expired and he disappeared for 10 years until he showed up again in the UK.
