Red-haired American actress, later known as Erin O'Kelly and Erin Selwyn. She was a Chicago beauty queen before coming to Hollywood in 1941. In the early 1940s, she was an on-and-off item with Tom Brown, but ultimately in 1944, she married Lt. Russell Selwyn (1919-2005), the son of actress Ruth Selwyn and stepson of producer/director/Goldwyn Pictures co-founder Edgar Selwyn. They had three children and remained together until Dorothy/Erin's death in 1997. Erin and Russell Selwyn are buried at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, California.
