born: 29 September 1918
Beaumont, Texas,

died: 26 May 1966
Hollywood, California,

(overdose of medication, age 47)

American actor. According to his Findagrave bio, he was an "Official stand-in" for Clark Gable in mid-1930s. His Texas birth certificate gives his first name as "Marian" but his 1940 WWII Draft Card spells it "Marion" along with most other references to him. He was in a car accident which permanently disfigured his face which led to his severe depression and suicide.
Some sources list his birth year as 1917, but his birth certificate states 1918 - but not in the actual field where it ought to be... it is on a rubber stamped date in the "Filed" section.
Real name: Marian Emanuel Goodman Jr.
Height: 5'11"
