Bill Wolfe
born: 18 November 1881
Brookston, Texas,
United States of America
died: 07 January 1956*
Los Angeles, California,
United States of America
(cardio respiratory arrest with emphysema and senile brain disease, age 74)*

Gaunt American supporting actor who was a frequent foil for W.C. Fields.
At least one source gives birth/death dates as 14 August 1894-16 February 1975. The CA Death Index entry sourced below lists a death date of 07 January 1956 in Los Angeles, California. However, it spells his surname "Wolf" (minus the "e") and doesn't have an exact birth date (it says 01 Jan 1882, the date and month of the New Year being commonly given in the CADI for those whose birth dates are listed as unknown on the death certificate), so I have a certain level of confidence in it, but I'm not 100% convinced that it's our guy.
